I’m glad you’re doing well and moving through the chaos. The pic of you writing is gorgeous! And thank you for the recs! I jump at any chance to hear Margaret Atwood speak!

Thank you Jo! Yes, riding the waves, with the help of words :) And thank you for your kind comment on the photo- a wonderful photographer friend of mine snapped it when I was deep in thought and I love it, too. In my element. And, truly, thank goodness for Margaret Atwood.

I love the role that writing plays in your life, Susannah, and your understanding of how it feeds you and gets you through the off times. Sorry about your recent upheaval but glad to hear you are making your way through. Love the photo of you at your desk, writing. Suerte!

Writing is pretty my only constant in life (even reading abandoned me for a short while during uni and in the immediate aftermath). It has always been something that I can rely on whether that was blogging or being more creative and has grown with me over the years. I've also found that the more that I write the more that I want to write and that's a wonderful feeling to have.

Glad that you are finding a way through the chaos

Yes, it's so true, 'the more that I write, the more I want to write.' I often talk about this with clients- we can make a small time for writing first and it will start to expand by itself :) Thank you for reading and for sharing here!

I am so glad to read the writing is there for you through this upheaval 🧡

Thank you for reminding me the times writing has been there for me: heartbreak, financial insecurity, big changes and big choices, pandemics of complete solitude, sobriety (and the addiction that preceded it)... I could go on. I am so thankful, for the writing and for you!
