No worries at all Diane. I actually had to cancel it this month, in the end, as I was so exhausted from finishing my novel. I hope all is well with you and your family.
Sort of glad you had to cancel so I didn't miss it this time. Also think you are brave and wise to know when you've read that point where you can't do any more. I've just received an email from a youngish man who runs an organisation I work with at times who has just been laid of work with stress and exhausting for not knowing when he should cut back. So well done you for cancelling.
Things are ok with the family. It is just that I wish I could support my 30-something daughter and make everything right as I did when she was 3 or 4. Tough parenting adult children. I keep meaning to write a book about it because there just aren't any out there
Hope you're recovering slowly and make sure you take care of yourself
Yes, I realised that I would be going against the very ethos of Teas and Tales if I pushed through despite the exhaustion. I'm sorry to hear about the young man. These are such hard calls to make. And I'm not a parent but I can imagine that parenting adults can feel so hard at times. Do write that book!
Thanks for your kind words, I am doing well after a very restful weekend :)
So sad this is the 1st T&T I have to miss since its inception! But my excuse is cool - hiking the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim (23.5 miles). Maybe do a prompt: "She hiked for miles hoping to make it out alive." 😅🥾
Aw I so wanted to come but ..... some family stuff going on so hadn't realised it was June yet! I am hoping to make next time. Hope it was great x

The book just needs to get out of my head and onto my laptop!!! Always the hardest bit of writing for me. LOL!
Glad you're doing well now x
